Dwarf South American Cichlids?

Does anyone know of small SA cichlids that are less than 5-6 inches full grown? I'd prefer they only get around 4 inches at most. Preferable red in color.

Bolivian rams kinda have red lined fins.

Yea they're kinda cool. I wish there was a dwarf fire mouth cichlid that'd be nice. I'd like apistos but they're very expensive

Your best bet is something from apistogramma.

I love my keyholes. Not the most colorful fish, but they are wonderful. They stay around the 4 inch range, and are very peaceful

I wouldn't put Apistos in a 20 long. Rams are a better option because they rarely get over 3 inches.

Apistogramma would be just fine in a 20 long.

I don't know of any apisto species reaching more than 3 inches? A 20 long is perfect for a pair

I don't believe there is. At least not that's common in the trade

My Bolivian and Super Red Apistogramma males, the Bolivian loves the camera the Apistogramma not as much.
