feeding my cichlids live food.

I feed my cichlids a diet of frozen foods like bloodworms and cichlid delight , flake food and frozen shrimp. They also nibble on the algae wafers i feed my plecos. Should i ever give them live food. ? I heard it increases aggression.

There's no need to feed live food IMO. The only time it's necessary is when you have a WC fish you're trying to transition on to prepared foods.
