Feeding my Jewel cichlid live fish

I want to feed my cichlid some small guppies. They are like .5-1 inch long. could i feed them to my cichlid and when could i feed my cichlid them? Like 2times a day, 2times a week, consisting of how many fish etc.

He will eat them and only once a day with live fish twice a day with pellet or flake

Is there any particular reason why you want to feed guppies?

Feeding live can be unhealthy and you could be introducing disease to your present stock.

How bout some ghost shrimp for a treat every week or so. My jewel gobbles them up with one bite lol
