Filter help

Okay I checked and im going w the aquaclear 70 series for my 75. Now my question is that why is there such a big jump between 70 gallon and up. Should I go w the 110 for a 75 gallon tank or will that be to much filtration?

It's never to much if it was me I'd just get the 110

I always try to reach at least 8x turnover for my tanks. So a 75 id try to get at least 600gph of hob filtration. the 110 does 500 and the 70 does 300. At least get the 110 imo the 70 wont be enough filtration or flow.

Ive got two 110s on my 125 and i dont think its enough.

Id go with 2 ac110 for your 75g tank or a nice canister filter but you wont find a cheap canister filter that does 1k gph

2 110s will be plenty. You could go a 110 and 70 have plenty of filtration and save a few bucks

Thats up too you. Ypu dont NEED them. They are mainly for looks and more surface agitation

You don't need any. If you like the bubbles then add as many as you want. the hob will create plenty surface agitation by itself
