Hey guys. I was wondering if these two fish could co-exist? I have 4 Angels and a school of big zebra danios and a Bolivian ram. The tank is a 55 gallon planted and well filtered. Established for over 3 years now. If the firemouth couldn't work I have a 40b ready to rock and roll for him.

I wouldn't rush it.Angels are pretty delicate and most likely Firemouths would bully them especially if they bred.

If you want an accent cichlid for the Angels, look into cleithracara Maronii, the keyhole cichlid. Very peaceful, fun cichlid species from South America. Nannacara anomala would be another good species, as well as laetacara dorsigera/curviceps/sp. aragauiae. Obviously only a pair of any 1 of those species would be a good choice. The first one listed, the keyhole, will be the most readily available species, and IMO the best fit for a tank as such
