Firemouth ph and temp?

Just wondering what you should keep firemouths ph and temp at or what you all have found they like the best currently I have my tank at 80 degrees and 7.6 ph.

78 - 80 degrees is perfect. There are many reasons not to manipulate the pH. While slightly acidic would be the ideal natural environment, the fish are adaptable and will do better with a stable pH in your range.
