Firemouth question

So our firemouths in our 120 have spawned and we have lots of little wigglers, yay!

We are thinking about giving the pair their own tank now so they can spawn again. The spawning came as a surprise but we're happy about it. The new wigglers are going in an established 10g once they become free swimming.

The male is about 4 1/2 inches, our female 3 or so inches.

We have a 29g that I can convert for them. Does that seem too small or about right for them? They would be the only 2 in there.

Also, any ideas on when to strip them from the parents. I haven't found any really good references.

i dont know how to answer your question but man your lucky! how did you get them to spawn? they look sooo great

We didn't do anything. I cleaned the tank Friday night, saw wigglers Saturday morning. *lol*
