Firemouth sex?

Here's my little guy swimming around this morning. Any idea the sex of it or still too early?

Unfortunately it's so difficult to tell the sex when they are that small. They don't really start colouring up till about a year on.

You could try venting but this is an exercise best practiced by the more experienced keepers.

If you feel up to it you could give it a try.

I figured they were too young I was just wondering if someone else who knew more what they were looking at could tell. Thanks for the reply!

No problem. They are quite a boring looking fish until about a year and then they start to turn in to one of the most beautiful.
