So I have been obsessed with these guys since I saw them but I feel like i might have over looked the reddish gills? Does anyone know if this is gill flukes? Or am I just being paranoid?

Red Gill flaps would suggest a higher than acceptable level of ammonia in your tank.Have you tested your water for ammonia,nitrite and nitrate?

Yeah all is where it should be, they came from store like that. So if thats the case since there in a better water quality it should go away?

I should think so, but extra water changes to give them the freshest water possible couldn't hurt.
