If anyone can help put a name on this guy that would be great. I am looking to add females for him and don't want to get it wrong. Thanks

Maybe a: Red Peacock Cichlid (Aulonocara sp.), but it's hard to tell as the images are kind of dark. I agree, seeing his main color would help determine what he is.
 
I just bought new lights when I get home ill get a better pic

I agree but now is it a 'Ilala Gap', 'eureka', or 'otter point' jack? All three of these look really close to him. I mean I can't just go pick up any jack female out of a tank and bring her home for him and say here ya go I want to make sure I'm getting just the right one. That's where I'm stuck.
 
Boy it looks like a jacob but cant really match to any of the specific types. most of the jacobs have more yellow/blue and less orange except the eureka but it doesn't look exactly like a eureka either. maybe its the lighting my closest guess is eureka.
 
Sorry I did mean jaco spell check got me there I go trying to abbreviate.
