Fish ID - Are these juvenile Synspilum???

Bought as Synspilum. Dont have any experience with them, so I'm not sure. What do you think??? They are about 3" right now.

I hope they are. They are beautiful when they are big.

Anyone have an idea? Are they too uncommon for much knowledge?

I just googled these after i seen this post and it looks promising. Other than google i have no knowledge of these.

I dont have any knowledge of them either. I cant seem to find juvenile pics. Only adult and they are beautiful. I usually go to www.cichlid-forum.com but I cant find them on that site either. AARRGGGGG!
