Fish identification

I got this fish as a baby less than an inch long and he has grown to this. He was sold to me as a Jack Dempsey. I've had Jack Dempseys in the past but they look nothing like this in my opinion. Anyone have any ideas?

From what I've looked up he looks kinda like a Texas cichlid. He is about 5-6" currently. Very aggressive too.

Looks like an ornatum cichlid. They aren't that common I looked into them along time ago and apparently they need pristine water conditions. They are an extremely beautiful fish. they do sort of have a JD look to them but better colors in my opinion.
