Not real familiar ith them myself but I have heard that you can mix them well with south Americans.

The most important question still has not been asked, what size tank are these fish going in(hopefully not a 30g)? Considering Parachromis Managuensis will reach 16-18" and would need a minimum of a 125g to themselves.

I would suggest though that you do no more than one catfish and leave it many places to hide. Depending on how aggressive your convicts are, they may harass him. Jaguar cats are territorial and don't like other cats.
