foam on one end of aqarium

That doesn't look like foam to me... at least, not what I'd call foam. Looks like you've got a bubbler that's causing some bubbles on the surface.
 
Surface foam is an indication of too much organic waste, which increases the surface tension and traps bubbles. Water needs to be kept cleaner; more frequent and/or larger partial water changes, fast-growing live plants, fresh filter carbon or purigen are all helpful for that.
 
The plants are new&fairly hardy(not much plant waste).2 weeks ago swithed from 2 top fin power filters to a marineland 350 canister,also do regular 25% water changes..

Maybe try turning off your air pump a day or two and see if that helps. If so maybe it's too much in your tank... Try adjusting your air lower. When you switched over to your canister did you put some of your old media in the canister so you had the beneficial bacteria?
