Found this

I found a few of these in my cichlid tank today! Idk what kind of snail they are. And I also have no idea where they came from. I bought a used filter a while back that had been running on a different tank in the store right up until I put it on my tank. Any ideas what kind they are and if they are bad or not?

Nope not at all, many people actually really like these snails for planted tanks. However, they can. Be a hassle if you over feed your other fish because they will multiply like crazy. Just a warning

Loaches love them. I had a bunch sprout up after I bought some plants, the where attached to the roots. So I got some yoyo loach. The dog them up and eat them.
