Frontosa mixing

Has any one ever had success mixing a frontosa with other African cichlids like Malawian and other tanganyikan cichlids?
 
I tried in a 125 fron ended up being bullied i rehomed i wouldn't try it again I'm sure its possible tho

Yes I have had success with it. Cyphos.com has a bunch of people that do it. There is two differing groups. One group swears only frontosa alone. Others say they can be mixed with other tangs. But to your question yes I have done it. Mixed Mpimbwe Frontosa with Leleupi. I had plans to add calvus or alto comps but couldn't find any. I have seen people keep them with Fronts aswell I got bored with the Frontosa before adding anything else.
 
I have one frontosa with mbunas and peacock they don't bother the frontosa at all so it's possible but you need lots of hiding places for them
