I have a 75 gallon mbuna community tank that I am in process of setting up. Would the Fluval FX5 provide enough filtration for the tank- I plan to over stock a little bit to reduce aggression.

Thanks!

an FX5 will provide PLENTY of filtration. It's not even completely necessary. A Fluval 405 or Rena XP4 would be plenty of filtration, but an FX5 would be fine (just a little pricey).

I have 2 FX'5s and for what you can buy them new on Ebay for it's about the same price as a 405 and bigger is always better with fitration. Get the FX5 in my opinion.

The best LFS in my area is aquarium adventures, they are not a major chain but I do know they are in a few states. If you are a member there you can get very good deals an supplies. I just picked up a 305 for about 130.00$. They also stock very healthy fish, and I believe the ship.
