So I am planning on purchasing a few GBR here soon.
I own a 55 gallon tank
Been up and running for years
Currently low stocked

15 neon tetras
3 oto

I will be adding corys, hatchets, dwarf guaramis, and a few more otos soon.

The main thing I want is GBR. But i am struggling to figure out if my water conditions are ok or not.

Nitrite and Nitrate is 0
Ammonia - 0

Ph is 7.6 (need help lowering it and it not be stressful on the fish. Also, how to maintain it during water changes. ) our tapwater comes out with a ph of 7.6

Gh and kh are confusing for me. I added 8 drops for GH and only 1 drop for the KH test. So im not entirely clear on if my water is hard or soft... Or what?

Are these conditions ok for rams? If not, what should I do to get there.

Thanks. I am still new to this and am trying to learn and educate myself before purchasing the fish.

The ph and hardness are less important than ammonia and nitrate levels for tank strain rams. Keep up on your maintenance, keep those levels in check and you'll be fine.
