GBR questions for a 10g

hi i was wondering if a 10g tank would be ok for 2 pairs of GBR? its going to have a fluval HOB filter for a 30 gallon tank or a aquaclear 30.. another question i have is what kinda of substrate will be best for them? the tank will be mod planted with some rock or driftwood depending on what they like more. not new to the hobby but first time with chiclids and species specific tanks. oh and what kind of lighting you found thats best. i need to use LED because of limited power restrains

10 g is big enough for only 1 pair of GBR IMO.
You need at least a 20 long to have 2 pair..

Ok that's easy. Any types of other semi aggressive fish that they would get along great with?

No, pair of rams in a 10g is 20% success rate all alone for most. Get a bigger tank and keep what you want.

No other fish in the 10..
A 10g is not a community tank...
Just one pair and proper cover...
