Gbrs have laid eggs!!!

I have no idea. I asked my local pet shop if they could order them. I'm not sure who they order from. So far they are doing great! Hopefully they stay that way. My girls and I just love them

I have read that a night light helps with GBR. So they can protect their eggs.

I am getting GBR (s) soon and am curious, by night light do you mean a dull desk lamp shining through the side during the night, or rather a almost salt water like night light?

I have one snail. And the first night I turned out the light completely and half were gone by morning. The second night I left the moon glow setting on all night and they were all gone this morning

yes it is their first. I'm sure they probably did eat them. Hopefully they will have better sense next time!

You mean a moon light? Those are usually built in to actinic blue lights, i have a spare one if your intrested

Unfortuanitly yes, i would say 50-60$, its a darn nice light. Cost 115$ new. I might set it on another tank, not positive tho

Also the bulbs are new. I think i have a spare bulb too
