I am trying to breed GBRs, I have 2 rams I just bought, one is definitely female, however, this one has a red tint on its belly, is it also a female?

I'm going to put my money on male but this is not 100%!!!!!!!! What's leading me towards male is the 2 extended dorsal fins and I'm really sure only males have this trait.

It looks female to me, however, my other female shows a very strong red belly while it's very light in this one. On Saturday they were following each other but today they started sparing.

Fish looks really pale in the picture. Probably not showing the red, but I think it's a female. You can see the differences clearer when they are colored up like mine here. ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1397605019.252166.jpg

Both are female for sure.

Males won't have any blue spots on the round black spot behind their eye.

They also won't have red bellies.

Also, females have a lot of black on their bottom fin.

I have a male and a female and the differences are extremely obvious.

Thanks! I'll just take it as female.
