The only experience I've had is with the common golds, and they behave just like most south american cichlids of that size. The name terror is really over exaggerated when it comes to describing their behavior IME.

From what I read in that article is that the saums are much less aggressive than TGT.

I have only seen one Andinoacara Stalsbergi and that was at a south amercian exibit at a aquarium.

Jeff Rapps has some F1's for sale on his site, I've ordered many fish fish from him and if you want quality and rare fish there's not better place.
