Title says most of it. Currently I have 4(used to be baby) common jds, 3 red zebras, and a common pleco(to be rehomed when big).

My final goal is to have a pair of jds, a pleco, and some other type of fish. Any recommendations? Btw this is in a 75.

In a 75, a pair of jacks is even pushing it.I would keep it to a pair, forget the pleco, lose the zebras, and maybe try buenos aires tetras or giant danios. More than likely they will become snacks once the jacks are larger. For sure, only jacks in the tank, no other cichlid species. A 75 really isn't that big when talking about some of the larger central american species

Agreed, a 75 is pushing it with 2 JDs. Maybe consider 1 JD?

However, I've had giant danios and tiger barbs with my JD without any issues.

Of course, my JD is a bit of a wuss too.

Australian Rainbowfish! I had 6 with a JD back in the day.

I know a few former members of here who have had jacks that would demolish dithers, so I wouldn't risk something pricier like rainbows, but that's just me, your mileage my vary I guess

I got my Aussie rainbows for $1 a piece at petsmart.
