Good South American cichlids

Right now I have 2 bolivian rams in the tank. Along with some Siamese algae eaters, cory cats and some neon tetras. If I get rid of the Bolivians what type of cichlid do you think I can house in my tank?
I think 2 3-4 inch cichlids would be a good fit for the tank. Any suggestion?

It depeds on what size the tank is but Apisto's are very cool little guys.

I agree with adding apistos if the tank is large enough. Checkerboard cichlids are nice too but can be delicate.
