Can I use gravel in my 75 gallon Chiclid tank instead of coral sand or can I mix them both?

You can use either. I wouldn't mix. Inlike sand better as waste settles on top an doesn't get in the nooks of gravel.

I agree, I use to have gravel before and converted to sand about a year ago. IMO it's easier to clean waste.
