No idea....no other fish in the tank have anything like it...he ate dinner and everything...swimming fine, it doesn't seem to bother him...just worried. Should I pull him out and treat for something? Increase the water changes only?

Looks like nothing big. If it grows or gets, larger id be more concerned. A water change a day will keep just about anything away ;)

It's almost completely gone today....I didn't have time to do a water change last night as it was late when I noticed the spot. What could it have been? Think it'll come back?

Could have been a small sore from running into a rock or something? Maybe a burn from bumping into the heater? I wouldn't worry as long as it doesn't progress worse.
