I recently bought a green terror and while i was looking at it, i noticed its back fin is chewed up. will it survive?

Hope he makes it they are my second favorite freshwater fish behind the Oscar

As long as its not something in your tank attacking it, it should be fine. Your LFS should have a chemical to put in the tank that helps repair fins.

It should be alright. Depending on where you got it, it is possible that the other tank-mates in the tank (like other GTs) could have fought or bullied it. It should recover. For faster recovery, you could up the water changes if you want
