Need help with id of fish. I bought a tank full of cichlids and just am not sure what some of them are.

There is one other that I have no idea what it is but he's pretty hard to catch with a cell phone cam.
 
They're African Ciclids :) you can look them up on google or petsmarts website. I've seen all these at my local store

Yr right but even with pics I have been wrong. There are many cichlids that looks a lot alike yet have different names. I guess the question is for a trained eye. Thanks for replying though.
 
Black and Blue looks like Johanni, but could be something else, need a different angle.

Black and white stripped Neolamprologus tretocephalus

Long yellow one
Possibly Neolamprologus leleupi

or Neolamprologus mustax

I think it is leleupi though.

The grey one is Neolamprologus brichardi

Have a browse through this list for your last 3 fish.

1st fish is definitely a Malawi and a Melanochromis species.
 
Thanks again mattrox. Those are the fish I came up with so I guess my eyes DO work.
