What type of cichlid is this exactly? Someone wants to get rid of him, so I'd just like some info first before I say yes, thanks in advance!!

Scientific name Aulonocara baenschi.
It's tail looks badly chewed and it looks like it needs rescuing poor mite

That is what I was thinking, just wanted to be sure! Yes, this person has A LOT of Cichlids in his 40 gallon, told him I would take some of them, it is WAY too overstocked. Thank you for your help!

The first picture looks like possibly a male kenyi just beginning to change from blue to yellow.the second I'm not too sure about.Is it a juvie?

I'm not really sure if its a juvie or not, looks like it could be though. This guy just wants to get rid of them all, I haven't seen them in person yet...

From the look of the orange spots on the anal fin it could be a firefish or a red peacock just starting to colour up.
