Help ID a new addition

I saw this guy while at my lfs...The owner didn't know what he was apart from a cichlid. He said maybe a hybrid. His blue eyes are really pretty though. Any thoughts? Sorry for the streaks.

Definitely has cryptoheros cutteri in it, either a hybrid or a really messed up looking cutteri. Either way, I'd put money on cutteri being in there somewhere

Yeah got completely mixed up there is a post a while back with a similar fish that they said was a jack dempsy

I think your spot on with the cryptoheros. His coloring has already started turning much more blue and yellow. Thanks for the help.

+1 on the cutteri. This is not a jack Dempsey. It almost looks to be mixed with a moorii or something. But defiantly a hybrid.
