I know one is an African, which I don't have a clue about as far as species identification, the other was sold as a firemouth, which I know is wrong, is it possibly a severum?

Second the black convict. Photos too cloudy to see the other well.

I took some more, it's a lot clearer now and the last one was just way too cute to keep from posting

Pictures do the little guy no justice- I have never seen a black con as colorful as this one- I had a pair of gold cons for a couple months before I had to rehome due to them being a true pair.... Kind of happy it's a con- he may be able to keep my flowerhorn company in his 125g as he seems resilient and already has an attitude that's larger than life.

I think the African may be a peacock of some type. Thanks for the con id... Anyone know about what type the other guy is? Thanks in advance

Please, does anyone know what type of African this guy is? First picture is for body and fin type. I'm afraid of stressing the little guy out too much if I can't get him into a proper tank set up soon. Thank you, any and all who may happen to respond

Definitely a peacock. Can't we the coloration so well though. If its with that flowerhorn and convict it probably will get picked off quick.

What's the size o the peacock? Looks like a jacob. Females show no color. Drab grey, brown..peacocks may take a while to color up if male

I guess it's a boy then- way too bright!! He's only about 2 inches, there is a definite bright blue, purple and red pattern on him
