I am getting ready to set up a 50 gallon aquarium in a week or so for these african ciclids who are in a 30 gallon tank at the moment. So I guess what I am wondering is if these fish are compatible with one another to be in the same tank. So if anyone can help identify them it would be greatly appreciated
:thanks: ScottyMo

The first is a firemouth (thoricthys meeki; Central American) the second is an African (mbuna of some sort, I'm not good with Africans), last one is a Jack Dempsey (another Central American)

I'm no expert but I have personally raised multiple batches of Texas cichlids from egg to 10+ inch monsters and have never seen a juvenile or adult that looked like any of the pics posted. They may be a hybrid but not pure Texas.
