Hi I have bought this malawi mystery it looks like a dimidiochromis compressiceps but with some yellow and black barring has anyone seen anything like him before ?? Thanks Andy

Looks like nimbochromis livingstonii but it's hard to tell from this angle.

I'd have to see the shape of the jaw. It could be compressiceps.

Steli actually is more accurate because venustus usually have darker blotches not bars. My bad appears to be a livingstonii

Here's abetter angle and yes I agree looks like a livingstoni but has a jaw like a compressiceps ?? Think a hybrid ??
