How long does it take a lemon Jake to color up?

I have a lemon Jake, I believe. He is about the inches big.. in the sunlight you can see blue metallic in his side, also some in his face. So I believe he is male, how old and big does he have to be until he colors fully?

Lemon jakes are one of the peacocks to color up. Usually 3" and up they finally color up. Sounds like yours is starting his change.
