How long does it take for cichlids to start breeding

It depends on a lot of thing like how many males;females and how old a lot of different things. I have 2 males 2 females (wrong ratio) and they are smallish 2 inches none have breeded. They need a rocky environment too. They aren't like livebearers at all.

I have plenty of rocky places for them also all mine are 1 male 2 female ratio i don't know age though

I can't really "predict" but I would just say weeks to a couple months . The ratio I thought was 1male 3-4 females and that will balance out agrresive.
