I have a 30 gallon tank and I was wondering what types of cichlids and how many I would be able have in it that will have enough room when they are fully grown, any suggestions?

It depends on what you're looking for... German blue rams and Bolivian rams are very colorful and stay small. You could do a trio of either of those or some apistos.

If you're looking towards African cichlids, you could look into shell dwellers or another dwarf cichlid.

Demasoni though are feisty little guys.. To keep them happy, they'd need a higher stock and a larger/longer tank in my opinion.

Definitely could be done, no doubt about it.

+1 to the rams. Small, pretty, and full of personality.

My 30 I have German Rams, glo danios, cardinal, glow light, and ember tetras, celebese rainbow fish, a paradise gourami, and a clown Pleco.

A 30 gallon convict tank with you want something to look somewhat eye catching
