Got this girl at petco in assorted Malawi tank. It's a female and I thought it was an Auratus but it looks like it's turning blue and I'm confused

I'm pretty sure your right. They are all yellow to start as it changes it will turn bluish and keep getting darker till almost all black. It still could be a female just super happy to see you
