I have just moved my nic's into a 75 which leaves me with a 55 with 6young Firemouths trying to get a pair.
Anyway we just got in these fish call Inca Stone Fish they only get 5-6 inches and that's all I know. Can anyone help me tell me how to sex them or how they breed what they eat.
- thanks

They are a relatively rare peaceful dwarf cichlid from South America, they are not terribly striking in color but are fairly peaceful. The only redeeming cool factor with them they are mouth brooders which is somewhat uncommon for SA fish. A friend of mine sells fry at our club from fish purchased from Jeff Rapps years ago.

Cool man thanks yeah I do alot of SA cichlid and CA cichlid breeding and have never seem this fish before. IMO I think a tank of these and some german rams or umbrella cichlids would be cool.
