My kribensis just showed up with this growth on her side. I first saw it yesterday after giving the fish some feeders to play with. She seems to be behaving normally, and is eating just fine. The growth is raised. It looks like a blister, but I don't have much knowledge of fish sicknesses beyond Ich.

I was thinking that one of the other fish tagger her during the feeding frenzy yesterday, but I imagine a bite wound would look different. It hasn't changed in size or shape, but there might be less red to it now.

Got some new pics. Still unable to get her into a net for a close examination, but it hasn't changed much for the better or worse. Thoughts?

Ive had something that looked exactly like that on one of my mbunas. I never found out what it was, i assumed it was an injury from fighting. I kept the water pristine and it healed up, but it scarred the fish, you can still see where it was.

This is her this morning. It looks like it's healing. I hope it is. I'l continue monitoring and post anything else that happens with it.

I was able to catch her. I had to take pretty much everything out of the tank to do it, but I got her. She has a red blister on her other side near her tail. I'm giving her a 1 hour dip with Paraguard and hoping of the best. Should I dose the tank as well? No other fish are showing any signs of stress at all.
