If she is all I have for an extra tank at the moment is like a 2.5 gallon. I want to keep the fry. Also, if she is how long until she spits? First time having Africans. I just noticed this morning the extra large jaw.

Is it normal for her to stay hidden

Looks like she is. The easiest way to tell is to feed her - if she doesn't eat, she is holding. If this is her first time holding, then there is a very good chance she will end up swallowing them, rather than holding them to term.

Today I saw them moving around inside her mouth. How long until she spits!?

they hold for 20 days give or take a few depending on the fish. so whenever u seen her holding first, then count 20 days from that and thats a good starting point.

I tried stripping her and one baby came out. Still with a small egg sack up swimming freely. I plan to let the rest come naturally

Congrats. Mine is holding as well. Today is day 2. Mine is hiding as well.
