Rams aren't livebearers so I don't believe she is pregnant. They are egg layers. Your ram may have bloat if it looks to be abnormally fat. Is the fish eating normally? You can feed a couple shelled peas to help relieve the bloat.

I know...it blows. Not sure why I can't keep GBR. My nitrates are 5. Might be the ph, it's 7.2 but I thought they'd acclimate. This is the 2nd pair that died in less then 2 weeks of getting them. The male is still alive but not looking well. That is exactly what happened last time. Female dies then the male. Boo...such a beautiful fish

Well, if you love the fish it's best to try and figure out what is going on - never give up on a hobby you love.

I don't think your ph is a problem. GBR's prefer a pretty neutral ph. In the picture you posted your fish looks to be bloated. How many fish have you lost? What are you feeding and how often? How long has the tank been running?

Tank has been going for 3 months but was an upgrade from a previous tank that was established for 1 year. I moved all water and filter media and it was cycled in 3 days.
I feed new life spectrum small fish food and cichlid pellets. Brine shrimp pellets, algea wafers and occasional blood worms.
All of my other fish thrive...bolivian rams, tetras, cory cats, thread fin rainbows and pearl gourami. It's 75 gallons with live plants Click image for larger version

Is my female ram pregnant?

So you're feeding frozen foods In the mix - Are you soaking them in water first?

Have all the other fish looked bloated before they passed?

Ps. Your tank is beautiful.
