Is this a cut?

My albino socolfi has something red on his forehead and it looks like a cut or wound, I just wanted to make sure it's not some disease. He is one of the smaller fish in the tank and does get picked on but normal picked on, cichlids will be aggressive, here's a pic

See if some Melafix clears it up. And take good care of water quality. Hopefully it's just a minor bacteria, or flesh wound.
