I woke up this morning to find my GT with some damage on his head. He didn't have this last night. There's one other fish in tank, so it could be damage from fighting, but I don't want to take chances. Should I be concerned? Pics included.

My gbr had one this morning, big ole gash on her face, than I saw the pile of eggs on the lace rock, she must have hit the rock at speed:( clean water and good food time!

I had this happen to a geo brasiliness in about a weeks time you wouldn't know it had happen.

not a scar but scales knocked loose.

hole-in-the-head looks like erosion or pits in the skin and usually starts around the eyes or lateral line. it is similar to HLLE in saltwater fish.

+1. I agree. HITH starts about where youd think the temple of our head would be on a fish. Brookster is also right with the clean water, good food. Will speed up recovery.
