I had 12 and now have 9. I am not sure the reason. Ph is 8, ammonia, nitrate, and everything else is good. I installed new Holey rock in those two weeks and they were cleaned...

The fish all had perfect color, no signs of ich... Temp has been normal... No signs of war wounds... Tales and fins in perfect shape... Lips too... Any ideas?

Stress from constant chasing by the dominant demosani could be the culprit, wouldn't show any battle wounds, but is enough to kill a fish. Seeing as demasoni are highly aggressive, although normally 12 is enough to displace the aggression.

I've watched and it is the chasing. You are right. I'm going to have to fatten the load and relocate this one. He is too good of a killer.
