Jack dempsey set up

Hi I am going to be Setting up a 55g jack dempsey tank would love to see photos of everyone's set up. Also what other fish can go with them

In a 55? Not a lot really. You could do a schooling fish with them. A small pleco, Rubberlip, Bristlenose. Something like that. Maybe a small school of Silver Dollars? 5 would be nice.

Silver dollars get to big and active for a 4' tank. I would say a jack and something like congo tetras, giant danios, etc..

4-5 Silver Dollars would be fine in a 55 gallon tank with a Jack Dempsey. The can get pretty big and are active. But as long as filtration is there, it's fine.

Upgrades don't always work out. Stock it as a 55 gallon, if the upgrade works. upgrade appropriately.
