From these I would almost say female as there are not many spangles showing other then the face/gilplate. Not to mention the stubby fat fins.

Still looks very young so hard to say.

Fin shape has more to do with genetics rather than a distinctive male/female trait. The fish certainly looks female, you should be able to clearly see the males vent in the first photo if it were present.

I wish I knew a sure way of knowing... I know the sex of mine because I have fry and I know the mommy from dad. I have 2 more that I think I have right too...

My guess is female. I think the males are more flashy and colorful. Mine are. I read the male are more colorful. JMO.
