I currently have a group of 6 jewels. However when I upgrade my tank next month I wanted to get a group of something else to join them (I also have a BN catfish) after asking people on here and other places tiger bards and Congo tetras get recommended alot. Anyone got any experience with this? (Or keeping anything with jewels) I wouldn't mind a group of Cory's if not? I am also considering the fact that I may have to re home 2/3 of the jewels.

Any advice or experience would be much appreciated :)

Congos would be a good choice, although their flowing fins may be tempting to be nipped.

Steatocranus species would be a cool addition, aka buffalohead cichlids

Ok hadnt seen them before they do look cool! My new tank will be 240l (around 55g i think) and 4 feet long. Think that would be big enough to house both?
