got any better pics?

males usually have deeper set neck/head area, and obviously dorsal fins are usually more elongated, but can be quite hard to distinguish in jewels. Sometime looking at how the vent looks can be a good indication aswell.

if the vent is large, and more promonant usually a female, and if its less noticable can be a male. Its not any easy way but by practicing you usually use it on most large africans

hope this helps mate
