Hello, the other day I noticed my ruby crystal peacock had gravel stuck in her mouth as I was clearing the gravel out I discovered eggs. I need some help on how to read the fry if they hatch.

The female will hold the eggs for 3 weeks or more till they hatch. After they hatch i would pull the female and put her in a tank for herself, a 10 gallon works well. Eventually she will spit the fry in the tank, most of the time my females would spit the fry in the net when i caught them. After she spits them, leave her in the 10 gallon for a few days to rest up and eat. After a few days remove the female and put her back in the main tank. I fed my fry crushed up flake and pellet food. Also make sure you use a sponge filter or the fry may get sucked up into a regular filter. Good luck with your fry!

He is only about 1/2" and has no aggression yet.
