Koi fish with convicts?!

I was the LFS and they redid the entire fish section, looks awesome now they have a very nice display tank both freshwater and saltwater and they have 6 very nice frag tanks with the nice site glass so you can really get a good look at the frags. All the display tanks are new and very very clean and the planted tanks (huge) look amazing!

One of there display tanks had koi fish, gold fish, some Bali sharks and about 5 convicts. The tank was probably a 200+ tank. Can it be? Oh and a pleco as well... I'm gonna go back and get some pictures.

Can it be, sure. Should it be, probably not. LFS display tanks sometimes disregard all logic when it comes to stocking.

Just insane. I was there again today because of tree awesome frag tanks and I went to take a few pictures and was escorted out of the store!!! Haha! They told me no picture of animals that it was a store policy. Well I guess now I'll make a phone call. Guess they didn't realize who I was.

Thats pretty odd, Were the koi significanty
Bigger than the convicts? If someone were crazy enough to try that i feel that would be the way to go

The koi where bigger yes, if id have to guess id say maybe 12". There where more convicts then koi though. Maybe 3-4 koi and after being there today I'd say 10 convicts, 3-5 gold fish, some Bali sharks and a pleco. It was a nice scaped tank and BIG but I didn't expect to see such a range of fish.
